Steve came to SPG after serving as a Group President with Leggett & Platt, Inc. Under Steve’s leadership, the Storage Products Group became a key profit contributor to the corporation and a market leader in the industry. Steve led the efforts to form the now independent SPG.
Steve brings the organization more than 25 years of progressive management and leadership experience in both domestic and international operations, working in industrial and consumer product companies. Among the companies he has served are Allegheny International, Gulf Oil, Frito Lay, and Atlantech International.
As a management professional with a quarter of a century of progressive P&L experience, Steve is a self-motivated leader who believes in building strong, effective management teams — a strategy he developed by employing his experience as a Captain in the United States Marine Corps. As President/CEO, Steve brings our organization the skills of a successful problem-solver committed to building excellent communication among employees, our sales network and end-users.
By placing the highest value on the need for improved bottom line profitability through careful analysis, detailed strategic planning, and flawless execution, Steve is dedicated to the long-term growth and market dominance of SPG.
Steve received his B.S. from John Carroll University and an M.B.A. from Webster University.
Ricky has over 37 years of operational, supply chain, and logistics experience across a variety of companies ranging from $35M to $3B in revenue. Prior to joining SPG, he held various senior leadership roles including COO at the Great American Hanger Company, Executive VP of Global Operations at Excalibur Electronics and SVP of Global Operations for Merisel a computer product distributor. Ricky presently serves on the SPG Leadership Team as Chief Operating Officer, leveraging his background to drive improved efficiencies throughout the company.
Over his 29 year career with SPG, Michael has held a broad range of positions across sales and engineering, always focusing on improving product quality and developing customized solutions to optimize customers’ operations. Michael now serves on the Leadership Team as Chief Business Development Officer, overseeing multiple business segments including foodservice, grocery/ c-store, and health care. He also has functional responsibility for design engineering, product development and sales engineering support in addition to the core sales function in these areas.
Cheryl joined the SPG team at its inception after a long, successful tenure at Leggett & Platt culminating as Group Controller. She served on the SPG Leadership Team in a variety of accounting and finance roles before transitioning to the sales area as Vice President of Business Development for the Industrial segment. In this position, Cheryl is able to leverage her strong analytical skills to provide strategic customer solutions and maintain the highest levels of customer satisfaction. Cheryl received her B.S. from Columbia College and Masters of Accounting and Finance from Devry University.
Susan joined the SPG Leadership Team as Vice President of Sales Operations after more than fifteen years of experience across multinational corporations and entrepreneurial start-up environments. She has a track record of creating operational efficiency through the creation and implementation of processes and procedures across Customer Service, Inventory and Logistics Management, Human Resources, Procurement and Finance and brings a collaborative, team-oriented approach to driving success at SPG. Susan holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University and an M.B.A. from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
